Shift: Monday – Friday | 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Contract Length: 12 monthsWork Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Are you a mechanically skilled problem-solver with a passion for powersports or automotive equipment? Polaris is looking for 1–2 experienced Rework Mechanics to join our dynamic team at the Polaris Proving Grounds in Eden, TX!
About the Role:As a Rework Mechanic, you'll refurbish and prepare off-road vehicles for sale or scrap, assist with test track maintenance, and help manage vehicle inventory and records. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Engineering team while working hands-on with industry-leading machines.

About the Role:As a Rework Mechanic, you'll refurbish and prepare off-road vehicles for sale or scrap, assist with test track maintenance, and help manage vehicle inventory and records. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Engineering team while working hands-on with industry-leading machines.
Responsibilities:
- Refurbish and scrap off-road vehicles (may include engine, transmission, or frame replacements)
- Maintain detailed vehicle logs and inventory in our systems
- Conduct vehicle inspections using tablets
- Prepare vehicles for sale or scrap (fluid draining, battery removal, etc.)
- Assist with track and trail maintenance at our proving grounds
- Operate forklifts and manage organized storage of vehicles and parts
- Support occasional travel for inventory management at other locations
- 3–5+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician
- Powersports or automotive dealership experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude; fabrication/welding experience a plus
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Excel
- High school diploma required; 2-year technical degree preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and forklift operation skills
- Experience with diagnostic tools and skid loaders is a bonus
