What you’ll do as a Plater:

What you’ll do as a Plater:
- Run equipment and plating lines in the department with little or no supervision
- Resolve issues for various plating areas
- Ensure plate areas consistently meet specifications for proper plating
- Plate products as needed to meet production and quality levels
- Instruct personnel in the proper setup and process procedures to clean and plate in all areas of the plating department
- Promptly correct and/or notify the supervisor of hazardous situations
- Participate in and take proactive roles in AS9100, ISO, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification, and solution verification
- Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of experience in similar manufacturing environments
- Ability to apply knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, processes or systems and skills to improve performance, quality and timeliness
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately orally, in writing, or electronically
- Ability to apply interpersonal skills (empathy, negotiation, rapport, sensitivity), to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
