What a Parts Counter will do:
What a Parts Counter will do:
- Greet customers at the counter and answer the phone
- Write and pick sales orders
- Provide technical service at the counter, over the phone, or via text
- Research technical issues or hard-to-find parts and/or equipment
- Order special ordered products for our customers
- Facilitate resolution of warranty issues
- Assist where needed even if it’s not explicitly stated in the responsibilities and expectations
- Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store
- Providing after-hours service
- Fill in as a driver for our delivery route, as needed
- Experience and schooling in the HVAC/R industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment and effectively handle distractions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, teammates, and vendors
- Proficient in utilizing computers and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Willingness to learn new software to handle day-to-day business transactions
- Ability to effectively problem solve and/or pivot when needed #WorkNow
