What a Painter will do:
- Utilize an air sander for sanding, apply sand poly and primer, confirm removal of spatter and slag, and apply filler as needed
- Use measurement devices to track and record dry mill thickness before and after sanding and complete all necessary paperwork
- Conduct daily maintenance on paint prep equipment, clean the paint booth and lights, change filters, and keep the paint prep area tidy
- Mask off areas not to be painted, safely operate tuggers, lifts, and other machinery, and always wear the appropriate safety gear
- Manage workflow and maintain a well-organized, clean paint prep area
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Attention to detail and quality
