What you will do as a Painter:
- Understand general pre-prep operation, including viewing product for defects before entering the wash and paint booth and reviewing work orders to determine specific parts to be hung onto the paint line in the most efficient manner
- Load unpainted parts onto the paint line conveyor system
- Unload finished painted parts from the paint line conveyor system
- Inspect painted parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Place finished painted parts onto a lifting table to transport to assembly
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and neat
- Cross-train in other stations of the paint department
What you need to be a Painter:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
