Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Paint Shop Technician roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these opportunities ranges between $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Paint Shop Technician:
What you will do as a Paint Shop Technician:
- Stage jobs to ensure that orders stay together and all SOs are accounted for in the work order folder
- Apply water-based primer coatings to a variety of parts or materials
- Make spray gun and coating consistency adjustments during painting to ensure quality finishes
- Touch up marred surfaces to maintain high standards of quality
- Clean and store painting equipment after use, ensuring tools are maintained properly
- Move materials in and out of the paint booth, with careful consideration of size and weight
- Request assistance with large frames, doors, or any object that is too heavy for one person to handle safely
- Wear protective respirator gear and PPE as required by safety protocols
- Assist the shipping department with tasks as needed
- Experience with spray painting or coating applications is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE
- Physical ability to handle materials of varying sizes and weights, with an emphasis on safe lifting practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks #GroveCityJobs
