We are seeking candidates for Paint Detailer roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these opportunities ranges between $18.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you’ll do as the Paint Detailer:
- Prepare aircraft parts for painting by masking and taping areas that should not be painted, following precise instructions and specifications
- Ensure that all masking and taping is done meticulously to achieve clean, crisp lines and a high-quality finish
- Apply paint and coatings to aircraft components, ensuring smooth and even application
- Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling paints and other chemicals
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, ensuring that tools and supplies are readily available and properly stored
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met, including the removal of masking and taping
- Report any issues, defects, or discrepancies to supervisors for timely resolution
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in painting or coatings is a plus
- Previous experience in masking, taping, and painting (preferably in aerospace or automotive industries)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions for masking and taping
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work with various painting tools and equipment, including spray guns and brushes
- Familiarity with safety guidelines in a painting or manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
