We are seeking candidates for Packager roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Packager:
What you will do as a Packager:
- Assemble orders, check against shipping/work orders, report shortages, and follow up to locate items or incomplete orders
- Plan transfer of product/materials to shipping dock and load products/materials on trucks or trailers
- Determine method of packaging, crating, boxing, or skidding shipments
- May use forklift to transport materials to work or storage areas
- Pack a variety of moderate to heavy parts or products in standard boxes, crates, or other containers
- Check against packing list or special packing instructions for inclusion of components, kits, or other additional items
- Follow specified details as to packaging materials, padding, or other protective materials
- Use care in blocking to eliminate shifting of product in transit
- May use electric, air-powered, or hand tools for building pallets or crates
- A concern for safety and quality control is a requirement
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
