We are seeking candidates for an Electronic Technician position on the 1st shift. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity starts at $24.00 per hour and will increase based on experience. What you’ll do as an Electronic Technician:
- Troubleshoot, fix, and maintain the various Programmable Controllers throughout the facility, in the most cost-efficient and cost-effective manner, while maintaining all quality and safety standards
- Assist in the planning for and installation of new equipment
- Work with the Maintenance Manager on controlling all department costs and developing metrics to
- Track costs to contain and improve
- Schedule and complete all projects/assignments in a timely, cost-efficient manner
- Assist with negotiating prices, terms, and conditions, with outside suppliers used to meet project needs
- Assist with overseeing of installation to ensure machines and other equipment are installed and functioning according to specification
What you need to become an Electronic Technician:
- Post-secondary training in Electronics Repair, specifically including PLCs
- 3+ years of experience in a high-speed production environment
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
- High degree of troubleshooting capability
- Comfortable working with and around alcohol products
- Ability to do regular bending, stooping, and lifting up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #WorkNow
