What you'll do as an Oven Operator:
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, rules, and safe work methods while making suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
- Inspect machinery according to the checklist provided
- Reach and maintain all cycle goals as set up on the machine
- Ensure pre-measured accurate powder is being used for correct mold
- Demold products
- Replace bad j-hooks on molds in a timely manner
- Check finished parts, empty parts containers, and shut down operation when deficiencies in quality or machine operation are noted
- Ensure all parts meet specifications
- Forklift certification
- Previous experience as a plastic machine operator
- Must be detail oriented with effective time management skills
- Ability to read and properly interpret a tape measure
- Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Willingness to work as a general laborer and assist where is needed
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
