What You’ll Do:
As the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the manufacturing floor, including SMT, test, mechanical assembly, and soldering operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive performance improvements, manage cross-functional teams, and maintain a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production output and operational efficiency
- Monitor departmental KPIs and report performance to executive leadership
- Collaborate with other departments to align goals and resolve challenges
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Manage facility coordination and support cross-site project transfers
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience managing manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Access)
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to team success
- Skilled in motivating and developing personnel
- Analytical and strategic thinker with solid decision-making capabilities
