Job Description
Boost your career with this exciting opportunity! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company located in Minneapolis, MN. We are seeking candidates for Metal Grinder roles on the 2nd shift. The hours for this position are 2:30 pm-1:00 am, Monday-Thursday. Compensation for these positions is $22.00-$24.00 per hour. What you will do as a Metal Grinder:

What you will do as a Metal Grinder:
- Operate various grinding machines, including surface grinders, manual grinders, and OD/ID grinding machines
- Perform deburring and finishing tasks to achieve specified tolerances and surface finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications
- Utilize belt sanders and other finishing tools to enhance product quality
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- High School diploma or GED required
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal finishing
- Strong deburring experience and familiarity with various grinding techniques
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience operating surface grinders, manual grinders, and OD/ID grinding machines
- Knowledge of belt sanders and other metal finishing tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
