Job Description

What a Metal Finisher will do:
What a Metal Finisher will do:
- Set up and operate some type of sheet metal finishing machines, as trained
- Finish most standard units and some non-standard parts
- Select the correct supplies to obtain the correct finished product
- Follow shop routing and instructions
- Work with a minimal amount of supervision
- Record time on job assignments
- Complete job assignments on time
- Follow all safety rules including using all recommended personal protection equipment
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
- Ability to sit, stand, and move around and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #Metrojobs
