What you will do as a Mechanical Assembler:
- Maintain repair or maintenance records
- Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts
- Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts
- Inspect vehicles to determine overall condition
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning
- Measure distances or dimensions
- Seal gaps or cracks to prevent leakage or moisture intrusion
What you need to be a Mechanical Assembler:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently with or without reasonable accommodations
- Capable of performing repetitive wrist and hand motions, lifting and reaching overhead, squatting/kneeling, pushing/pulling, and standing for the entirety of the shift
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work with limited to no direction
- Previous experience with a mobile crane on a mobile truck preferred
- CDL B highly encouraged
- Previous work with Ziegler or Butler Traveling Mechanics is highly preferred
