Job Description
Take your warehouse career to the next level with this 2nd shift job in Alexandria! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading warehouse company in Alexandria, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Materials Distribution Team Member role on 12-hour afternoon shifts. This role will work from 2:30pm-2:30am, Monday-Thursday. Compensation for this contract job is $23.25 per hour.
What you will do as a Materials Distribution Team Member:

- Operate Forklift, Crane, Yard Truck, Trailers, and Basket Jig safely
- Stock product and process electronic transfers
- Monitor manufacturing orders for due dates and customer packing and shipping instructions
- Wrap, band and label finished material for shipment to specifications
- Complete electronic inventory transactions
- Perform cycle counts
- Research and resolve inventory inaccuracies
- Receive and inspect inbound material for compliance with AI standards
- Process inbound parcels and deliver to location
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- 2+ Years of material handling, shipping, and receiving experience
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Willingness to take part in continuous education and training.
