Job Description

What you will do as the Material Specialist:

What you will do as the Material Specialist:
- Responsible for receipts, transfers, and issues of parts to jobs in a timely manner to meet the shipping schedule
- Maintain inventory of standard parts at point of use locations
- Conduct cycle counts for inventory management
- Coordinate transfer of parts between facilities as required
- Load pallets, crates, and boxes for storage or shipment
- Repackage supplied parts and materials in TCA provided packaging after visual inspection and count verification is complete
- Properly rigs product for safe loading of trucks using cranes and forklifts
- Responsible for housekeeping in the general area
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, written instructions, manuals, safety rules, purchase orders, bill of lading, and packing slips
- Strong attention-to-detail in order to maintain counts in the computer system
- Ability to operate cranes, slings, hooks, and other apparatus
