Job Description
Level up your skills in this new role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local warehouse for this exciting employment opportunity located in Long Prairie, MN. We are seeking candidates for Material Handler roles on the 1st and 2nd shifts. Compensation for these contract opportunities ranges between $19.00-$20.90 per hour, depending on shift and experience. What you’ll do as a Material Handler:
What you’ll do as a Material Handler:
- Ensure finished product is appropriately labeled and moved to the proper location
- Produce accurate and legible paperwork
- Hold responsibility for food safety
- Keep required materials full
- Monitor raw product as it is being introduced to process
- Clean per operator instruction
- Maintain constant communication with Production Support Lead
- Attend training when offered
- Forklift certification and scissor lift training
- Understand warehouse layout
- Able to comprehend and follow the hold policy and procedure
- Basic math and computer skills
- Able to read and write in English
- Highly proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to sit, stand, twist, and bend with proper body mechanics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to go up and down a ladder throughout the day and stand on a concrete floor for 8+ hours per day
