Job Description
Bring your material handling skills to this new opportunity! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading printing company in Hamburg, PA. This company is hiring Material Handlers to work 12-hour day and 12-hour night shifts, rotating 2 or 3 days per week and every other weekend. What you will do as the Material Handler:
- Utilize the computerized inventory system to determine the location of materials and supplies
- Enter material transactions into the system and complete the material handling section of paperwork for the return of materials to the warehouse
- Move processed material from workstations to the appropriate staging area
- Ensure the accurate repackaging of leftover materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
What you need to be a Material Handler:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortability working at heights in an aerial lift
- Ability to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, push, climb, move, and reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Willingness to be exposed to loud noise, ambient temperatures, wet environments, and confined spaces
- Ability to adjust work hours to accommodate business needs
- Willingness to participate in a pre-employment drug screen and background check
