Looking for a new job in the Red River Valley? Check out this position with 4-day workweeks! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Grand Forks, ND. We are seeking candidates for Material Handler positions on 1st and 2nd shift. Compensation for this contract opportunity is based on skills and experience.
What you will do as the Material Handler:
What you will do as the Material Handler:
- Transportation of materials to designated areas
- Unload and load freight
- Verify all items on packing slip for quantities received and backordered
- Inspect product for damage and document damage as needed
- Put inventory in its designated areas in an organized and efficient manner
- Assist in yearend inventory procedures as needed
- Responsible for various yard work projects including general clean up, as needed
- High School Diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have math, reading, and spelling skills
- Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs with or without reasonable accommodations
