What you will do as a Material Handler:

What you will do as a Material Handler:
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries in a dock environment
- Operate manual pallet jack occasionally to move materials
- Lift and move items with the use of flatbeds, hand trucks, or carts when necessary
- Ensure proper vehicle handling while dock doors remain open, managing cold or warm conditions as needed
- Perform tasks during both busy periods and downtime, maintaining productivity
- Help organize and maintain the dock area for efficiency and safety
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures due to open garage doors
- Experience or willingness to operate a manual pallet jack
- Ability to stay productive during both slow and busy periods
- Self-motivated, with the ability to find tasks to do during downtime
- Team-oriented, able to work with others to complete tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment
