What you will do as a Material Handler:

What you will do as a Material Handler:
- Monitor and fix faults as well as clear any material jams in palletizing robot troubleshooting
- Resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized working area keeping all supplies stocked
- Maintain communications within the production team ensuring smooth shift transitions
- Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required
- Monitor raw packaging material and supplies to ensure it is supplied in an efficient manner to support production
- Maintain ingredients and material on a first-in-first-out basis (FIFO)
- Prepare and complete all area paperwork with legible handwriting
- Forklift inspection prior to shift with accurate documentation
- Always maintain Audit readiness in your work area
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to evaluate a situation and problem-solve
- Ability to read and interpret manuals
- Good work history and attendance
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Willingness to work overtime when additional coverage is needed
