Master Scheduler / Planner
Job Description
Are you a detail-driven planner who thrives on keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a Master Scheduler to join our team and take ownership of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). This role is vital in coordinating with multiple departments to align resources, meet timelines, and ensure delivery success.

- Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on forecasting, material availability, and production capacity.
- Release and coordinate production orders to manufacturing teams, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal disruptions.
- Communicate proactively to reschedule production in case of labor/material shortages or backlogs.
- Analyze capacity constraints and provide actionable recommendations to optimize planning.
- Prepare and distribute key reports on labor hours, shipments, inventory, and open orders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ERP tools
- Support product changes including inventory adjustments and part maintenance.
- Lead inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Drive continuous improvement by measuring and reporting performance on critical planning factors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of production planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using an ERP system for scheduling and inventory planning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across departments (Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple data sources and make informed decisions.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
