Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Production Worker roles on the 2nd shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $19.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Production Worker:

What you will do as a Production Worker:
- Process job sheets by utilizing fabrication drawings, cutting orders, bills of materials, or other project documents to perform assigned tasks
- Position parts or materials for processing
- Perform maintenance on machines by adding coolant to reservoirs and lubricating parts
- Remove foreign material from items on conveyor belts
- Assist other production workers in production activities
- Report labor transactions and job information accurately
- Control material cost, labor, and overhead costs
- Work efficiently with colleagues to minimize energy use and material waste
- Create an environment of producing the best product, at the best price with quality expectations and on schedule
- Implement training received to assist with job efficiency and quality expectations
- Knowledge of 5S Lean practices
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to use practical problem-solving skills and work with colleagues to accomplish objective
