Manufacturing Operations & Supply Chain Planner
? Location: Forest Lake, MN
? Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
? Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:Join Mustad as a Manufacturing Operations & Supply Chain Planner, where you'll play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing operations, supply chain planning, and ERP/MRP strategies. This position ensures seamless production and distribution planning while maintaining resource efficiency and inventory control. If you're a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for process improvement, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:? Develop and manage manufacturing and operations plans to meet supply needs for distribution centers and direct customers.
? Lead and define ERP/MRP strategies, improving methods and procedures to align with company goals.
? Analyze supply, demand, and production capacity to create a one-year master plan incorporating production, packaging, maintenance, and machine shop operations.
? Manage inventory levels of spare parts, raw materials, tooling, and consumables using statistical models to anticipate shortages or purchasing needs.
? Actively participate in S&OP cycles, ensuring plant capacity and inventory align with demand.
? Develop production budgets and cost control strategies to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
? Identify process gaps and use data analytics to drive decision-making and improve product costs.
? Lead, train, and evaluate team members, ensuring continuous growth and alignment with company objectives.
? Ensure industrial safety, environmental control, and quality management within the department.
What You Bring:✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Software Data Engineering, or a related field.
✔ Advanced knowledge of ERP & MRP systems.
✔ Strong data analytics skills to drive operational improvements.
✔ At least 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, and/or industrial planning.
✔ Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level).
✔ Proven ability to manage complex projects and improve process efficiency.
