We are seeking candidates for Paint Lead roles on the 2nd shift. Hours for this position are from 4:15pm-2:15am, Monday through Thursday. What a Paint Lead will do:
- Ensure volume, cost, waste, and quality standards of their department are achieved
- Work directly with material specialists to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of materials
- Work directly with engineering to resolve issues related to BoMs, design, and process to resolve line stoppages
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and initiatives, including keeping workspaces in orderly conditions
- Train and instruct line personnel, monitor production progress, and communicate with supervisors on performance and related discrepancies
- Monitor build book signoffs, ensuring completeness of areas of accountability
- Provide back up support for supervisors related to company guidelines, conduct, policies, and ethics
- Provide feedback to supervisors on individual employees’ work performance
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of department specific experience required
- 1+ years of Rosenbauer build process experience required
- 3+ years of department specific experience preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and work from blueprints/spec books
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure accurately
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
