What an Electronic Assembler will do:
- Route 12V electrical wires to equipment and follow a wire diagram
- Connect lights, hose reels, and other accessories to the electrical box
- Fabricate boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint
- Communicate with fabricators to have a complete installation
- Fabricate wire harnesses to complete the installation as needed
- Utilize basic hand tools as needed to complete objectives
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company
What you need to be an Electronic Assembler:
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong mechanical and technical ability required
- Low-voltage electrical experience required
- Ability to read and work from blueprints/spec books
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure accurately
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
