What a Component Assembler will do:

What a Component Assembler will do:
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies of standard or custom designs
- Work from detailed drawings, specifications, and/or schematics; procedures and methods are generally prescribed
- Requires adjusting, fitting, and aligning to meet inspection standards
- Solder connections to appropriate standards
- Perform daily/weekly TPM tasks with accuracy and consistency
- Vocational or high school graduate + formal training program or equivalent on-the-job training
- Sufficient knowledge of assembly, testing methods, and procedures
- Five thousand (5,000) hours experience required to acquire skills, dexterity, and assembly techniques, become familiar with designs, materials, tools and equipment, testing devices and instruments, in order to attain proficiency and production standard
