What you will do as a Painter:
- Mix and apply industrial paints and coatings to manufactured products
- Prepare materials for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and setup
- Package finished products and materials
- Clean and maintain the painting equipment and paint booth
- Safely dispose of hazardous waste following all safety and EPA regulations
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other related equipment
- Produce quality painted products on time and according to specifications
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining production records and tracking paint/solvent usage
What you need to be a Painter:
- Previous experience in industrial painting and coating is preferred
- Ability to lift and handle up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
- Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with hazardous waste handling and safety protocols
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow written procedures
