We are seeking candidates for Production Lead roles on the 12-hour night shift (rotating 2-2-3) schedule. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity is $23.00-$24.50 per hour. Interested? What you’ll do as a Production Lead:
- Monitor activities in the area of responsibility at all times during a shift
- Train and lead, as well as communicate effectively with all co-workers
- Ensure that every detail and specification of each product is met
- Assist in implementing the directives of management with the assigned workforce
- Assist managers in documentation and record-keeping for the area assigned
- Perform appropriate tests on the product and processes
- Keep track of assigned inventory and notify the warehouse when it is low
- Maintain proper sanitation and keep track of what chemicals are used and in what concentration
- Help to evaluate and make suggestions for the continuous improvement of processes in the area of responsibility
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and working properly at peak efficiency
- Maintain customer and company daily reporting
What you need to become a Production Lead:
- 2+ years of experience in a high-speed Production environment is preferred
- Previous lead/management experience
- Ability to direct and lead people
- Strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to regularly bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Willingness to work around noise, dust, variable temperatures, and use of production chemicals
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors
