What you will do as a Filler Lead:
- Ensure that filler operators are properly trained and follow all SOP's
- Strive to achieve quick adoption of change and ensure efficient understanding and training to achieve organizational proficiency to handle new initiatives and projects
- Attend training on new processes and equipment
- Train filler operators on all types of sanitation and monitor sanitation schedule
- Drive required equipment and maintenance checks
- Observe that proper lids are in place, taking appropriate action when needed
- Observe proper levels of CO2 at the filler and in batching
- Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook
- Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety
- Previous lead experience
- 2+ years of experience in a high-speed Production environment
- Ability to read and interpret in English
- Strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
- Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations
- Previous lead experience
- Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
