Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturer to hire an In-Process Inspector.

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturer to hire an In-Process Inspector.
We are seeking a quality-focused individual with strong inspection experience to join a leading powder metal manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity to grow your career with a team that values precision, innovation, and craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform in-process inspections on powdered metal parts
- Conduct lot and first article inspections based on customer or internal requirements
- Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to verify dimensions
- Examine parts for surface defects such as cracks, chip-outs, or other visual flaws
- Document inspection results and mark non-conforming parts for rework
- Assist with capability studies and gauge calibration
- Interpret blueprints and collaborate with production teams to ensure part quality
- Previous experience as an in-process inspector
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
- Skilled in using inspection equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy (up to four decimal places)
- High school diploma or equivalent #metrocareers
