Job Description
Looking for an opportunity to bring in new automated equipment? Hiring a Maintenance Technician near Yorkville, IL to work a night shift (6pm-6am) schedule paying between $24–$35/hour, based on experience. Our ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and knowledge of electrical systems including HVAC experience. Growth opportunities are available to be part of an apprenticeship program for motivated candidates looking to improve their electrical skills!
What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Maintain building infrastructure, including roof and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist with automation initiatives by maintaining and repairing electrical systems (up to 480v) and hydraulic systems.
- Modify PLC programs as needed to ensure proper system functioning.
- Assist with machine rebuilds and ensure functioning systems and air compressors
- Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
- Replace pumps, rebuild machines, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
- Work closely with mechanics, electrical technicians, and shift supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure all systems are running efficiently to minimize downtime and support production deadlines.
- 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics/blueprints.
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (modification).
- Experience with injection molding operations or related industries.
