Job Description
Looking for an opportunity to bring in new automated equipment? Hiring a Maintenance Technician near Oswego, IL to work either a day or night shift schedule paying between $24–$35/hour, based on experience. The role has the potential to work a Mon-Fri shift. Our ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and knowledge of electrical systems including HVAC experience.

- Maintain building infrastructure, including roof and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist with automation initiatives by maintaining and repairing electrical systems (up to 480v) and hydraulic systems.
- Modify PLC programs as needed to ensure proper system functioning.
- Assist with machine rebuilds and ensure functioning HVAC systems and air compressors
- Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
- Replace pumps, rebuild machines, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
- Work closely with mechanics, electrical technicians, and shift supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure all systems are running efficiently to minimize downtime and support production deadlines.
- 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics/blueprints.
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (modification).
- Experience with injection molding operations or related industries.
