What you’ll do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all molding, stamping, assembly, packaging, and auxiliary machines
- Perform preventative and autonomous maintenance on equipment
- Make improvements and updates to existing equipment
- Initiate and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement projects
- Effectively use Mapcon to document all work performed on equipment
- Participate in design review activities for new and existing equipment
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic PLC programs and mechanical blueprints
- Ability to operate various shop equipment and hand tools to perform repairs
- Knowledge of world-class manufacturing practices
- General knowledge of Injection molding machines' operation and processes
- General knowledge of machine controls
- Working knowledge of computers as well as Microsoft Office, Mapcon, and PLCs
