What a Maintenance Technician will do:
What a Maintenance Technician will do:
- Perform setup and changeovers on packaging lines
- Perform planned, corrective, and unplanned maintenance on specified equipment
- Use available documentation for equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Ensure safety in the workplace by eliminating unsafe conditions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards
- Document all work activities within the maintenance management software
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagrams, or schedule form
- High school diploma, or GED
- 3+ years of related experience in a food-grade facility
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages
- Ability to solve practical problems and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form
- Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and have a working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Knowledge of business and manufacturing software (HMIs, PLCs, and manufacturing controls)
