What a Maintenance Technician will do:
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine necessary repairs
- Plan repairs according to work orders and preventative/predictive maintenance schedules
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, utility, and facility systems
- Perform maintenance on electrical and PLC/Controls systems
- Inspect facilities and grounds to identify and repair
- Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
- Basic maintenance and operation of HVAC systems
- Proper use of Lock-Out-Tag-Out and all safety procedures
- Knowledge of general carpentry and power tools
What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:
- 3-5+ years of working experience in a manufacturing/production facility
- Must hold a Special Engineer class Boiler License or be willing to obtain one
- Electrical/PLC/Controls knowledge and experience
- Willingness to obtain Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration certificate
- Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and P&ID Documents
- Ability to follow proper safety procedures and requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
- Forklift certification, experience, or willingness to obtain
