What you’ll do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Operate and use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance in a fast-paced environment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
- Conduct PLC troubleshooting and basic programming adjustments as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE requirement
- Read, understand, and follow detailed work instructions and direction
- Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding repairs and maintenance needs
- Maintain high standards of safety and organization in work areas
- Solve practical problems using moderate mathematical skills to calculate necessary data
- Use good judgment in decision-making processes, ensuring work quality and timely completion
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines while balancing multiple tasks
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of training and experience in machine repair and facilities maintenance (technical education may count towards experience)
- Basic knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLCs
- Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
- Experience using LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures
- Moderate mathematical skills to calculate data and solve practical problems
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot, repair, and adjust complex mechanical equipment, including the use of tools, machines, and vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Knowledge of job-required PPE and appropriate usage
