Looking for a secure job? Hiring a Maintenance Technician in Pierre, SD. This is a permanent and stable career with daytime hours paying up to $28 an hour. This person will be responsible for overseeing two facilities and will be provided with a company vehicle! Interested?
What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, ventilation, feeding systems, and water systems
- Install and maintain electrical and mechanical systems
- Conduct inspections on equipment and systems before becoming a problem
- Utilize equipment such as torch welding, grinding, and power tools
- Perform mechanical and skilled tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and mechanical repair
- Experience in maintenance, preferably in an agricultural
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Experience with HVAC, ventilation, and automated feeding/watering systems is highly desirable.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Able to operate company vehicle to secondary plant
