Doherty is partnering with a leading food production company near Creston, IA, that is undergoing an exciting expansion and doubling in size! We are seeking candidates for a Lead Maintenance Engineer role with a 12-hour schedule and a three-day workweek. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity is between $65K-$80K with a 3% bonus and relocation assistance! Interested?

- Oversee and guide the maintenance crew, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, and work towards minimizing downtime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot equipment and systems, providing solutions and guidance to the team to maintain optimal production flow.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and address any maintenance-related challenges that impact production.
- Lead efforts in completing scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment is in top working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance logs, timecards, and downtime to track progress and improve performance.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire a team in a maintenance environment.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance or a combination of relevant education and training.
- Understanding of mechanics and troubleshooting can be trained for the right individual
- Ability to write reports, provide clear instructions, and effectively communicate with both team members and other departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
