We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the daily operation of our Maintenance Department. The Supervisor will coordinate repair activities, manage labor resources, and interface with Production Supervisors and other departments to resolve equipment issues. In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance team, scheduling, overseeing repairs, and ensuring a safe working environment. Compensation for this opportunity is $80,000-$95,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance crew to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Maintain boiler and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Provide leadership to foster continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Manage records such as timecards, downtime, and absenteeism.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management, ensuring smooth shift transitions.
- Encourage employee suggestions to improve production and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in food processing or manufacturing
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
- Knowledge of plant operations, safety regulations, and food safety (GMP, SQF)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP; AutoCAD experience preferred
