Position OverviewAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage, train, and schedule a team of maintenance personnel, providing essential support to our Production/Processing areas. This role is critical to ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely during the weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Supervise and lead a maintenance crew, providing support to production areas.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, create work orders, and oversee the installation of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and enforce company policies fairly and consistently.
- Foster collaboration across departments to maintain a coordinated work environment.
- Required: Associate’s degree in Mechanics and Electronics or related field, with two years of relevant maintenance and supervisory experience.
- Preferred: Knowledge of mechanics, welding, electrical systems, and government safety regulations. #metrocareers
