Job Description

We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor role on the day shift. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity ranges between $32.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you’ll do as a Maintenance Supervisor:
- Report directly to the Director of Maintenance for overall project planning and management at the respective plant
- Maintain equipment, practice preventative maintenance, coordinate and prioritize work orders
- Prioritize, work with, and help guide maintenance technicians on internal construction or maintenance projects for production equipment or facility improvements
- Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate with production teams on maintenance repairs to minimize downtime
- Ensure safety guidelines and regulatory requirements are met in all maintenance work
- Follow and enforce GMP’s and safety protocols
- Work with Parts and Inventory Specialist to source components and maintain proper inventory control
- High School diploma required, additional schooling is preferred
- 2+ years supervisor experience required
- Boiler license and Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Electrical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of basic electrical systems; including single phase, 3 phase and low voltage
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility preferred, specifically in food manufacturing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work with various computer programs including work order system and Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Teams.
