We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Manager role. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity ranges between $120,000-$140,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Maintenance Manager:
What you will do as a Maintenance Manager:
- Schedule and plan the installation and completion of new equipment and building projects as assigned
- Promote established safety programs and ensure safe operating procedures and monitor employee compliance
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, GMP's etc.)
- Work with appropriate stakeholders to maintain an up-to-date parts inventory of all critical machine parts, including ordering parts as needed
- Work with appropriate stakeholders to develop, schedule and maintain plant preventive maintenance plan, ensuring that production operations are optimized
- Establish and maintain all labor and cost control reports for the department
- Develop, recommend, and implement an approved maintenance departmental budget
- Analyze and report on variances between actual and budgeted expenditures
- Assist in the design of new projects, machines, replacements, etc., including coordinating the selection of outside contractors to perform any plant work
- Act as the technical resource to address and resolve any maintenance related inquiries and problems, including aiding in troubleshooting plant equipment malfunctions
- Ensure that quality and food safety best practices are performed for all operations within the facility daily
- Experience with PLCs, preventative maintenance, and mechanical systems
- Experience developing and executing capital projects
- Experience developing a PM program and guiding staff through updating and modifying existing PM’s
- Knowledge of safety standards, MSDS, HACCP, and GMPs
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets and analyze costs
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must have bakery maintenance experience
