Job Description
Looking for a new opportunity in the Mankato area? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading medical device manufacturing company in North Mankato, MN. We are seeking candidates for Machine Technician roles on the 2nd shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $21.50 per hour. Interested? Learn more below! What a Machine Technician will do:
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production machines and machine parts to ensure product quality in subsequent production runs
- Disassemble and reassemble machines after sanitization
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Works as a member of the Machine Technician team to ensure production machines are operating properly and efficiently
- Execute assigned work, from the team lead or supervisor, accurately, efficiently, and completely
- Take ownership of assigned production lines to ensure production is effective
- Document activities in an accurate and timely manner
- Report all mechanical issues to the Engineering or Maintenance department
- Ensure tools and spare parts are organized by production line
- Ensure processes and documentation are followed to ensure adherence to regulation and company procedures
- Mechanical proficiency and experience working with machine change parts
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement department procedures
- Experience performing mechanical assembly of manufacturing machine parts and demonstrated mechanical proficiency
- Ability to work independently or with a small team #WEjobhunt
