What you'll do as a Machine Operator:
- Know and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Effectively set up, troubleshoot, and operate a variety of balloon and/or automated packaging manufacturing equipment
- Maintain minimal scrap levels
- Follow production schedules, complete paperwork, package finished goods to work order specifications, and review work orders for accuracy
- Responsible for housekeeping in the fabrication department
- Work closely with department supervisors on department goals
- Participate in process improvement groups
- Responsible for in-process testing procedures
What you need to be a Machine Operator:
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 6 months in a high-production, manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures
- Must have good problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #Metrojobs
