What a Machine Operator will do:

What a Machine Operator will do:
- Operate grinding machinery used in the manufacturing of twist drill bits
- Make minor adjustments to keep the machinery running within strict tolerances
- Obtain stock to be run on machines by following schedules
- Load and unload drills from the machine
- Make minor adjustments to controls to ensure quality is maintained
- Verify and control specifications within job card tolerances
- Use industry tools such as micrometers, rulers, and scopes to maintain quality standards
- Communicate the machine and quality status to Setups and Leads
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
- Participate in continual improvement programs
- Must have good and consistent attendance
- Proficient in mathematics for accurate calculations
- Ability to use hand tools
