We are seeking candidates for Extrusion Operator roles on the 3rd shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $23.86 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What an Extrusion Operator will do:
What an Extrusion Operator will do:
- Monitor extruders for continuous operation
- Perform mixing and set-up operation
- Maintain operational log on all settings and temperatures of ovens and roll stands
- Remove the full spools and positions empties on take-up
- Check lines for roughness, proper test, correct diameter, and elongation
- Monitor the proper level of wind and tension on all spools
- Perform die changes, braid changes, color changes, and material changes
- Record all usage of material and make note of all scrap
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Disassemble and reassembles die packs
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 6–12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and good hand dexterity and coordination
- Must be able to follow set recipes and data to produce quality monofilament
- Ability to handle spools and materials weighing from 5 to 50 pounds, and move containers weighing 200 pounds using a barrel cart with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to use good judgment to maximize the most yield possible while maintaining safety #PureFishing
