Job Description

We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on the 3rd shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $19.75 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:
What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:
- Review and follow work instruction, management system procedures, and standard operating documents
- Operate CNC and manual machines, and handheld tools
- Inspect parts and identify defects and non-conformities
- Adjust machine settings with assistance when necessary
- Complete all related paperwork/documentation such as inspection reports, part counts, scrap tags, material tags, etc.
- Monitor fluids in machine and coolant flow in machine
- Regularly meet or exceed efficiency requirements
- Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Communicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner
- Ensure work center is prepared for the next operator including cleanliness, organization, supporting documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience desired, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Basic math skills and working knowledge of decimals
- Ability to read measuring instruments and work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
