What you’ll do as a Machine Operator:
- Operate assembly equipment to meet production requirements
- Be able to follow and perform periodic product inspection instructions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain optimal machine operating speeds
- Complete daily Production Reporting and Downtime Sheets
- Monitor and coach production employees to work safely and efficiently to ensure production and safety standards are met
- Monitor employees and enforce company policies and procedures
What you need to become a Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to operate production assembly equipment
- Ability to use basic inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Basic shop math skills
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to operate a forklift
