Job Description

We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on the 3rd shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $19.75 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:
What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
- Review and follow work instructions, management system procedures, and standard operating documents
- Run CNC and manual machines, and handheld tools
- Inspect parts and identify defects and non-conformities
- Adjust machine settings with assistance when necessary
- Consistently and accurately complete all related paperwork/documentation
- Monitor fluids in the machine and coolant flow in the machine
- Utilize the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area
- Produce parts that meet the company’s quality standards
- Actively participates in events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Good mechanical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to read measuring instruments
- Good math skills; must have a working knowledge of decimals
- Prior manufacturing experience desired, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
